How Inflation/Recession Benefits the People

Positives for Low-Income/Poor People
Less money to eat out and being forced to eat at home is a healthier option.

Maybe some people may also grow a garden which is even healthier (as long as the water bill stays stable).

Being healthier also means no longer having to go to the doctor for illnesses caused by unhealthy fast food, etc. People can't afford expensive doctor visits anyway as it stands now.

People are much less able to afford car insurance or buy cars and now ride the bus or bicycles. This is a healthier option for them both physically and financially and it benefits the environment.

People won't be able to afford to buy a home so realtors lose money and go bankrupt but the people will do well not having to worry about having to pay huge costs for home ownership. This will lead people to better sleep not having to worry about the payments.

The Downside/Negatives of Inflation 
Less income for restaurants which includes less tax income.

Doctors no longer have enough patients who are sick. Regular people in the US cannot afford to go to the doctor anyway as it stands now.

Car dealers won't be able to sell cars as much.

People will not be able to buy expensive insurance products and may opt in only for the basics.

Gasoline will be in less demand and oil companies will suffer.

Realtors lose a lot of business too.

Conclusion
It doesn't pay to be greedy and without the people a country is nothing. We can't take it with us when we die is a true statement.
